                                                          The more factor

         In American culture, it’s a known fact that people get addicted to any product that is used on a daily basis. The addiction gets worst when the product is illegal like drugs and steroid. For instance, Most American care about their looks and they can do anything to look attractive. This character is common among older people. Some men go to the gym to work out so they can gain muscle and be more attractive to the opposite sex. Some can go as far as using steroid. The more they use the steroid, the more they want more. This can be addicting and dangerous. Anabolic steroids are illegal in the United States because of their side effects to the human body yet thousands of Americans continue to use it. It is believed that these illegal consumers get these products from foreign countries like Mexico and Italy. People use steroids because it enhances performance and make them build faster. Doctors agree that steroid is dangerous but to what degree is where they disagree. The side effects of anabolic steroids include unusual but noticeable physical changes, psychological side effects, risk of addiction and possible death.

         Anabolic steroids are dangerous and if used for a long period of time, it can cause unusual physical changes that are noticeable. For instance, stunt growth. This is a situation in which an individual either stop to grow or start to develop slowly. Premature baldness or hair loss is a side effect among female steroid users. This can cause insecurity and can end up leading to depression. Premature baldness is also common among men steroid consumers but some men are bald naturally so it's hard to tell if the baldness occurred as a result of steroid usage or not. Steroid users tend to overwork their body without getting tired because the steroid give them the energy to exceed their natural ability. This could lead to injuries due to overworking the muscles. Other physical side effect includes increase risk of developing heart disease, liver damage, high blood pressure, weight gain and problem sleeping. Some specific risk for females associated with anabolic steroids includes, increase facial and body hair. A woman growing facial hair will start to look like a man. This is a result of some hormone changes occurring in the female body as a result of anabolic steroid usage. Other side effects include development of muscle traits such as deep voice and shrinking of the breast. Side effects for men include testicular shrinking; pain urinating, breast development and impotence which could cause depression and psychological disorientation.

         The psychological side effects of anabolic steroids which can occur as a result of mode switch also known as roid rage can lead to suicide. Some body builder’s workout either because they want to look good or they have some inferiority complex and want to fit in. When they don't get the results they expect, they start to worry and this can cause depression to some point and can also lead to psychological problems. Most of this steroid uses don't take the time to find out the side effects before proceeding. when they finally start seeing the results of the side effects, they start to regret.

         Addiction is dangerous. You will always want more. steroid is bad for the human body. It can make an unstable person become even more unstable. Between the year 1993 and 2000, four clinical trials administered high dosage of steroid to one hundred and nine men, only five percent showed unstable and aggressive behavior. Though the percentage is low and some medical practitioners used it as an excuse to claim that the effects of anabolic steroids are minimal. The fact still remain that anabolic steroids is dangerous.
